COVID Guidelines

Ecocity World Summit COVID-19 On-Site Guidelines and Regulations  

The health and safety of the Ecocity World Summit’s participants, faculty and staff are our top priority. Therefore, the Ecocity World Summit’s organizing committee have developed the following guidelines and precautionary measures to ensure optimal health and sanitary conditions onsite.     

Please note: Safety and health guidelines are subject to change at any time. We ask that all in-person attendees follow all safety measures. We kindly request that you do not attend any in-person events if you are feeling unwell or showing any symptoms of illness.  

Local Regulations

The Ecocity World Summit will follow all regulations implemented by the Dutch Government. Please see rules and regulations regarding events in The Netherlands here.

Masks 

Masks will be provided for those who wish to wear one. The guidelines about wearing masks are subject to change, following any modifications in the Dutch government’s safety regulations.  

Cleaning and Sanitization 

All high traffic areas will be regularly disinfected with hand sanitizer at provided at essential points throughout the summit. We also kindly request that delegates wash their hands frequently.   

Social Distancing 

To maintain a safe environment, paid in-person registration will be limited to 600 participants in accordance with the health protocols in force. This will also allow for social distancing of 1.5m in all areas of the summit.   

Food & Beverage 

The venue adheres to all HACCP standards and procedures to ensure the safest environment. All safety measures dealing with Food and beverage will follow to local governmental suggestions.  

Medical Care 

Qualified medical care will be available on-site, at all times, during the Summit.   

As the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, the organizers will evaluate and adjust the in-person guidelines and regulations with safety as its top priority.
